Hey Auntie provides conversational language-learning services that help users learn languages through WhatsApp messaging and related digital services (the “Service”).

By interacting with Hey Auntie through WhatsApp or our website (heyauntie.co.uk), you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Hey Auntie provides short, interactive lessons designed to help users learn conversational phrases in selected African languages. The Service may include:

4. Messaging Consent

Hey Auntie sends WhatsApp messages only to users who have provided consent. Users may opt in by:

submitting their phone number through our website (heyauntie.co.uk) and confirming consent, or

initiating a WhatsApp conversation and confirming their consent to receive messages.

Message frequency varies.

Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Users may request help by replying HELP.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

use the Service for unlawful purposessend abusive, offensive, or harmful messages

attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service

attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the system

use automated systems to excessively interact with the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to users who violate these rules.

When you send messages or voice notes to Hey Auntie:

you retain ownership of your content

you grant us permission to process that content in order to operate and improve the Service

Your messages may be processed by automated systems to generate responses and language-learning feedback.

software and technology

is owned by Hey Auntie or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial learning purposes only.

You may not copy, distribute, or commercially exploit Service content without permission.

WhatsApp / Meta

Twilio messaging infrastructure

cloud hosting providers

Your use of these platforms may also be subject to their respective terms of service.

Hey Auntie is not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.
